MLK DAY OF SERVICE/SENIOR BRUNCH & BINGO

MLK Day of Service was a huge success at IHM today, so grateful to the army of volunteers that came to help out. In collaboration with Rev Suzanne Gates and All Saints Episcopal Church and Hope with Housing, Fr Mike welcomed 95+ area seniors to a soup and sandwich brunch and bingo. We also had over 105 boxed lunches delivered to Plainfield and Springfield Seniors by an army of drivers. We had a collection for food for the food pantry and pet supplies. We hosted multiple girl scout troupes who collected books and first aid supplies and made inspirational book markers. Special thanks to the leadership team at MLK SPF that make this possible every year.
