Here are some steps to follow when planning a Catholic wedding:

• Meet with your priest as soon as possible after your engagement to establish your intention to marry in a Catholic church2.

• Prepare your sacramental records and submit them to the marriage coordinator of the parish2.

• Attend Sunday Mass as much as possible. Especially Holy Days of Obligation.

• Make time to attend a marriage preparation program.

• Choose the form of your wedding.
