His death was announced in Rome on Dec. 31. His funeral Mass will be held on Jan. 5, 2023, in St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican said. Living Nativity 2022

Living Nativity 2022

December 18, 2022

Thank you to the IHM Youth Ministry gang for gathering at our Christmas Celebration. Teens dressed up like shepherds and angels. Hanging out with a bunch of gnarly farm animals in the freezing cold. The live show was the perfect complement to the Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. It brought a lot of smiles to many parishioners and kids, so it was worth it. HUGE thanks to everyone involved in this year’s living nativity!

The power of doing good was in full force this evening in Scotch Plains. Teens from All Saints Episcopal Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, First United Methodist Chirch and St Bartholomew Chuch came together to make lunches for the guests at St Vincent De Paul’s food pantry. It was wonderful to see so many young people coming together to server those that need our help. A big thank you to the Rev Susanna Gates and her team for organizing and hosting all of us.
